The infilling of the Holy Spirit will not only produce “tongues”, it will also produce “joy”. To be filled with the Holy Spirit is to be filled with joy unspeakable. Whenever there is a full expression of the Holy Spirit; joy will definitely be produced inside the heart, and once this happens; every sense of need will be lost.

The word of God must be received well enough until we see our needs met in the word. One of the ways to get God’s word work for you is to get thrilled with it.  Rejoicing over every word of God will cause you to move from believing to receiving.

Psalm 119: 162 [NLT] – I rejoice in your word like one who discovers a great treasure.

Expressing your joy in the realm of the spirit is a big business. You have been listening, praying, fasting and confessing the word; but now it is time to leap.

The “Gospel” simply means “good news”; the default response to any good news is joy. As the Word without the Spirit is dead, so also the Word without an expression of joy is lifeless. This “joy” is one of the many packages of our recreated human spirit; joy so great and special, impossible to be expressed with words. Just as fruits are naturally produced from a tree, so joy is produced naturally in the believer by the Holy Spirit. (Galatians 5: 22).

The content of our rejoicing is “who we are” and “what we have” in Christ. The ultimate source of this “joy” is Christ in us the hope of glory.  Joy is a command (Philippians 4: 4)

“Joy” is translated from the Greek word “Chara”… It is closely related to “Charis” which means grace or a gift. Joy is God’s gift to the believer. It is supernatural response or reaction to the work of God, whether promised or fulfilled. It is an action of the Holy Spirit at work in us. The world is full of shortage of joy and a surplus of fear, worry, discouragement and depression, the believer has unspeakable joy and full of glory. (Read 1 Peter 1: 8).

The best headache you can give the devil is to rejoice daily. Practice laughing session daily when you wake up, after prayer, in the car and in your work place. The best response to lack is to laugh! Laugh now! Rejoice in the face of danger or fear. The greater one who sits in the heavens and at the same time living in you is laughing with you (Psalm 2: 4; 1 John 4: 4)

CONFESSION – This joy in me, no man gave it and no man or nothing can take it away. I got joy!!! I got joy always!!!
